Chinese carrier Hainan Airlines is now operating direct flights three times a week between Brussels Airport and Shanghai Pudong International Airport. The launch of the new route coincides with Shanghai 2010 Expo, which will run until October 31.
Biggest gathering of meetings and events industry in Europe
The European Meetings and Events Conference (EMEC) will take place February 13 to 15, 2011 in Dusseldorf. It will be hosted by the association MPI - Meetings Professionals International - headquartered in Dallas, Texas. The annual EMEC conference is the biggest gathering of the meetings and events industry in Europe.

Sarawak Convention Bureau's "Meet in Sarawak Short Film II: Recharge in a New World - Changing Perspectives" won a Silver award in this year's international film competition Das Goldene Stadttor (The Golden City Gate) at ITB Berlin 2010. The destination short film's objective is to convert international bid opportunities for the Malaysian state. Target audiences for the sequel short film are meeting planners, association executives, professional conference organisers, and corporate decision makers.
